Ed decided that it was time to finally figure out what was going on.

His wife, Amber, had been acting strangely and he just couldn't figure it out. Was she cheating? All the signs pointed to it - her loss of interest in their sex life, her sudden love of golf (a sport she had refused to learn for him), and she was no longer upset when his work schedule made him late for dinner or required travel.

Amber never mentioned the friend's name. Now, Ed loved his wife and hated to bring the future of their marriage down to an issue of money, but Ed was financially well-off and stood to lose a lot if his wife would chose to leave him.
